Hi everyone! I'm loving the pictures and updates! I am glad to say we are done with halloween at last--though the boys each have several pounds of candy now. They had a blast trick-or-treating with their friends while the dads followed along trying to keep up. I handed out large quantities of candy, including to a few cell phone talking teenagers who couldn't be bothered to hang up to say 'trick-or-treat'. Good times :-)
Our big news update is that we finally paid off our student loans--woo hoo! Matt and I both though there was some problem when we got the notice in the mail--it didn't seem possible. Needless to say we are thrilled. They boys were super confused as to why we were talking about paying for our college (well, grad school) instead of theirs! Perhaps they won't have to go to clown college after all.

Congrats on the loans! I am following behind you and hoping to be done by the end of 2010! I remember thinking, I'll be paying those off til I'm 50 - well I didn't actually think this would happen but it almost did :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of the boys! Love the ipod touch (at least that's what I think it is). We had a great Halloween though were literally almost the only ones in our 'Hood. Mom and dad nicely came over to give out candy to the 5 other trick or treaters!
Ditto my congrats, too...thanks for those great pics, both on the blog and on FB...I still hesitate to chime in much on FB, I think it's a kind of generational thing...the one time dad did click on something, it turned out to be an abusive site! But love to see what y'all put out there...and to stay in touch this way too.
ReplyDeleteI'm hard at work getting started doing evals. of role play exercises for one of the profs. in the school of social work - he has a grant and is swamped, so has hired me to do this project, which is right up my alley...but will be labor intensive for a while. Otherwise, not much going on, can't believe it's November already & moving right along...stay posted, everyone, love you all, mom/P
